At Credit Adjustments, Inc. (CAI), making a difference in the communities we serve is the foundation of everything we do, which is why we want to highlight some of our employees’ passions and missions. This year, we asked a few CAI representatives to share how they work to make a difference outside of their jobs. Here’s what they said:
Mike Osborne
Creating Change for Entire Families
Mike Osborne was one of the founding members of CAI, and now he serves as the board chair—but his real passion is for serving the local community and finding ways to rehabilitate the lives of those in need. In addition to his role at CAI, Mike is heavily involved in the Defiance Dream Center, an organization that equips local men, women, and families to overcome hunger, poverty, addiction, and abuse.
“I was invited to be a part of the visioneering team that brought the Dream Center to Defiance, and I knew immediately that this organization would change lives for entire families,” says Mike. “I see the mission statement played out daily in the lives of directors, volunteers, and surrounding churches, and I’m honored to be a part of it.”
Because of his strong belief that the Dream Center’s work is critical to the local community, Mike also serves as the board chair for the organization. He loves their commitment to giving a hand up—not a hand-out—to people in need.
“The value this organization is adding to the lives of our neighbors has been immeasurable, and it has only been in operation a short time,” Mike says. “I can’t wait to see the Dream Center’s continued impact.”
