Credit Adjustments, Inc. is proud to announce the awarding of New Member of The Year by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Eastern Michigan Chapter to our very own Sales Executive, Aaron Moore. In September of 2015, Aaron began a project of his own design to bridge an identified gap between Detroit’s healthcare systems and general accounting and finance students from local universities in the southeast Michigan region. This came after the HFMA Board identified a lack of new members in the region, as well as, new talent in the local workforce. Within a month of that discussion, Aaron had already began an outreach program to general accounting and finance students at Wayne State University in downtown Detroit which in 2016 Fall semester will become the first Student Chapter in the region of the HFMA. With hopes of attaining similar chapters at more universities, Aaron’s outreach program will launch at three more universities in the Fall of 2017. Since the launch of this program at Wayne State University, Aaron has become Membership Co-Chair for the chapter, as well as chair of his newly developed program, Student Outreach. We congratulate Aaron on his quick and dedicated response to needs of the HFMA and our healthcare clients in the Detroit Metropolitan Area.
