Credit Adjustments, Inc. (CAI), a nationally-operated accounts receivable management firm, has announced that Shirley Wheeler has joined the company’s management team as Director of Client Relations and Quality Assurance.
Prior to accepting the position at CAI, Ms. Wheeler held various management roles with the U.S. Department of Education to include Director of the Collections Group in ED’s Washington Service Center and, most recently, as a Requirements and Testing Manager. In her role as Director, Wheeler helped formulate and implement policies and procedures affecting the recovery or disposition of more than $40 billion in defaulted student loans and delinquent grant overpayments resulting from Federal Student Aid programs. Most recently, her role had been to provide leadership in the coordination and implementation of improvements and enhancements of Federal Student Aid programs and management systems.
With CAI, Ms. Wheeler will assist in the direction and oversight of CAI’s diverse client segments in higher education to include federal subcontracting work the company now performs for multiple firms on ED’s Private Collection Agency (PCAs) contract.
